EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The company was founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973 and has built a sustainable and quality reputation over the past fifty years. Patagonia focuses on customer experience, data protection, and eco-activism in everything and their mission is to build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to protect nature, and not be bound by convention. In celebrating their brand anniversary they said “For our 50th year, we’re looking forward, not back, to life on Earth. Together, we can prioritize purpose over profit and protect this wondrous planet, our only home.

In creating a better world, as Patagonia said, we need to look forward to the future and with that, it is up to us to teach the younger generation how to create a more sustainable world. While Patagonia has been a leader in the sustainability industry, it is time for them to lead the next generation into it, and this is where Patagonia’s ‘Let’s Grow’ campaign starts. With pushing their children’s wear into the future with more innovative garments allowing for adjustability in size and adaptivity to any physical disabilities, it further the brand’s mission. Along with this they will be sold with easy to apply repair patch kits and in plantable packages which reduces plastic waste and the overall carbon footprints, and create a fun way to get kids excited and involved in sustainable practices.

This ‘Let’s Grow’ collection will be the next step in creating a better planet for the next generation through adjustable and adaptive childrenswear with repair patches that all come in plantable packaging, this will eliminate the waste of kids quickly outgrowing or ruining clothes with the new ability for clothes to grow and expand along with being easily repairable which allow kids to play hard while caring about this planet.
